When I bought my Aztek A470 airbrush, I also invested in a new Revell Standard Class Compressor.

You probably know by now that you can’t use an airbrush without some sort of “propellant” to push air through it. Although you can get airbrush propellant in pressurized cans, the long term solution is to get a simple but effective compressor.

I was pretty satisfied with the Revell compressor I got. It’s pretty lightweight, looks neat, and comes with:

  • Oil free piston compressor
  • Max pressure of 5,5 bar
  • Fitted with manometer (pressure)
  • Pressure regulator and a water trap
  • Automatic switch off system
  • Noise level: 55db

The pictures above show the front and back views of the Revell Standard Class compressor. Quite a beauty, isn’t she?

Perhaps one of my best investments in my scale modelling journey so far.
